Von Christ

Von Christ was created by Amelia Von Christ, a curator, studio manager and artist assistant based in Margate, UK. Von Christ functions as a platform to showcase artists work, produce and sell bespoke fine art prints and facilitate introductions with galleries, collaborators and collectors. 

Amelia focuses on providing artists with the support they require both practically and creatively. Working collaboratively Amelia is able to create systems within the creative process which allow for clarity and structure in order to make sure artists feel in control of the workload around their practice. This can include hands-on studio assistance, production support as well as research and curatorial input. 

Amelia also has her own curatorial practice rooted in close collaboration with artists and an interest in how personal and art historical narratives as well and material processes and social contexts can shape the ways we approach and understand art. Amelia’s approach to curation functions not only as a creative practice but also a form of care, creating spaces in which artists and audiences can experience work in its fullness and depth.
